Ok, here is the photo of a representative sample of the honey that I just extracted yesterday. This is a lighter honey this year and I prefer this to darker honey. I still have another hive to extract soon.

Hi Paul. Your daughter, I presume, garden and honey are all beauties. I entertained 12 friends and family members all weekend so I have a lot of catching up to do in the garden this week. I'll check my hives tomorrow to see how they are doing. Do you use an extractor?
Thats my girl. She is a gift from God. I could go on and on about her.
Yes I do use an extractor. It will extract 4 frames at a time. It is actually an antique extractor that I replaced the metal drum with a food safe plastic drum. It works really well. I have a photo of it on one of my early post.
I think you are my grandfather, reincarnated. I read through most of your older posts this morning and so much of what you do reminds me of him. The old extractor is wondeful. I plan to spend the winter months building hive boxes. I've had to turn down lots of bees this spring simply because I wasn't prepared and didn't have a place to hive them. Beekeeping is such a learning experience.
